A turnkey concept where we want to help people who don't want to venture into renovations or find it hard to see the potential in a property. That's why we meticulously curate every finish, layout, and choice of materials to create an atmosphere that promotes instant serenity. We develop our own furniture, artwork and home fragrance to create the effect of coming home immediately when you step inside our properties.
Duyn takes inspiration from the dunes, symbolizing the perfect blend of nature and design. Like the dunes our spaces provide a sanctuary where you can escape the demands of everyday life. We believe in the power of solitude without feeling lonely. Our design philosophy embraces the earthy elements, grounding you in your surroundings and connecting you to your roots.
Louise has a profound passion for scents. To her, being surrounded by pleasant aromas, whether it's a delightful perfume, the inviting scent of a hotel lobby or the fresh scent of a newly mown lawn, is essential. "Fragrances have a unique ability to transport us back in time, triggering nostalgic moments and creating a deep sense of familiarity and comfort.​" she says.
Understanding the significance of scent, Louise believed it was crucial for Duyn to have its own signature perfume. "If we want to create environments at Duyn that immediately evoke a sense of home, we must also engage the nose. By incorporating pleasant and carefully chosen scents into a living space, we can tap into this powerful connection between scent and memory, ultimately enhancing the overall experience and making a house feel like a cherished home where lasting memories are made."
​We created our own house fragrance; ral 9001, which is the colourcode for beige. Beige, symbolizing a grounded connection to nature, reflects the balance found within the great outdoors. It evokes a sense of stability, earthiness, completeness, and reliability. This exquisite house fragrance has been meticulously crafted to capture those very emotions and infuse them into the very essence of your living spaces, creating an ambiance that soothes the senses and uplifts the soul.
